The Case Study Approach to Learning

Main goal of case studies is to allow you to practice implementing various management concepts in situations you may face as managers. Read through the case study more than once so you become familiar with it. Think about the association the case study has with the topic being discussed. For example, the Biomed case study topic is “Ethics and Social Responsibility”.

Areas to consider in the Biomed case: How does the Biomed case study relate to the topic “Ethics and Social Responsibility” What appears to be the issue (of concern, problem, challenge or opportunity) and its significance to the organisation? Why has the issue arisen?
